November 17, 2014 – Decimated with injuries throughout 2014, Rangers fans get to take their first step toward a new season today as the team has released it’s 2015 Cactus League Spring Training schedule.
The Rangers will open Spring ball on March 4 with a game against fellow Surprise Stadium occupants, and 2014 American League Champions, the Kansas City Royals. As part of a 34-game training schedule, the team will abandon it’s temporary home in the Arizona desert to play four games back in Texas. Two will be played in San Antonio on March 21 and 22 versus the Los Angeles Dodgers and two more will be played at home in Globe Life Park against the New York Mets on April 3 and 4.
Tickets for Spring Training games go on sale December 15 and may be purchased by visiting www.texasrangers.com, by calling 623-222-2222, or in person.
